Cookie policy
How feelawsm.com uses cookies and similar technologies. GDPR and ZEPT compliant. Manage your preferences anytime via the cookie banner in the footer. Last updated May 14, 2026.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences (such as language, cart contents, or login state) so you don’t have to re-enter them on each visit. Similar technologies covered by this policy include local storage, session storage, pixels, and SDK identifiers.
2. The four cookie categories we use
We use a four-category model that aligns with EDPB guidelines and the Slovenian Information Commissioner’s recommendations:
2.1 Strictly necessary (always on)
These cookies are essential to operate the website. Without them, the site cannot function and we cannot process your order. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive because they are exempted as needed “for the sole purpose of carrying out the transmission of a communication” or for a service explicitly requested by the user.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| cart, _shopify_y, _shopify_s, secure_customer_sig | Shopify | Cart contents, session, customer authentication | Session to 2 years |
| _orig_referrer, _landing_page | Shopify | Records the page where a session originated, for fraud and conversion attribution | 14 days |
| cf_clearance, __cf_bm | Cloudflare | Bot protection, network security | 30 minutes to 30 days |
| cookieconsent_feelawsm | Feel AWSM | Stores your cookie-consent choices and timestamp | 12 months |
2.2 Analytics (consent required)
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the site, which pages are popular, and where we can improve. They are loaded only after you give consent via the cookie banner.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_VN1FNDRZHH | Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) | Distinguishes unique visitors, measures sessions and conversions. IP anonymisation enabled. Measurement ID: G-VN1FNDRZHH | 14 months |
| _gid, _gat | Google Analytics 4 | Distinguishes users, throttles request rate | 24 hours to 1 minute |
2.3 Marketing and advertising (consent required)
Marketing cookies are used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show you relevant ads on social platforms. They are loaded only after you give consent.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| _fbp, _fbc | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. | Tracks ad attribution from Facebook / Instagram | 3 months |
| _ttp | TikTok Technology Ltd. | Tracks ad attribution from TikTok | 13 months |
| NID, IDE, test_cookie | Google Ireland Ltd. | Google Ads conversion measurement | 1 day to 2 years |
| Klaviyo, Mailchimp identifiers | Klaviyo Inc. / Intuit Inc. | Match newsletter recipients to website visits where consent allows | Up to 2 years |
We may not run advertising on every channel listed at any given moment. The banner only loads the cookies for active channels.
2.4 Preferences (consent required)
Preference cookies remember choices like preferred language or region. They are loaded only after consent and improve your experience on repeat visits.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| localization, country, lang | Shopify | Remembers your country and language choice | 12 months |
| recently_viewed | Shopify / Feel AWSM | Shows products you have recently viewed | 30 days |
3. How to manage your cookie preferences
You can manage your consent in three ways:
- Via the cookie banner shown on your first visit — choose “Reject all”, “Accept all”, or “Customise” to set each category individually.
- Via the “Cookie preferences” button in the footer of every page — this re-opens the customisation panel at any time.
- Via your browser settings — all major browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies. Doing so may disable site features that depend on strictly necessary cookies (for example the shopping cart).
Your consent applies to feelawsm.com only. Other websites linked from our pages have their own policies and consent flows.
4. Third-party cookies and international transfers
Several of the providers listed above transfer data outside the European Economic Area, primarily to the United States. We rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, on adequacy decisions of the European Commission. For full details, see our privacy policy.
5. Legal basis
For strictly necessary cookies, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) and the Article 5(3) ePrivacy exception. For all other cookies, the legal basis is your explicit consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 157 of the Slovenian Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-2). You may withdraw consent at any time with no effect on the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is currently no industry consensus on how to interpret this signal in line with GDPR consent requirements. Our cookie banner is the authoritative way to record your preference; the banner takes precedence over DNT.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this cookie policy when we add or remove third-party services. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes — for example adding a new advertising provider — will trigger a re-display of the cookie banner so you can re-confirm consent.
8. Contact
For any question about this cookie policy, write to sales@feelawsm.com. We respond within two business hours during business days (Mon–Fri, 9:00–17:00 CET).
