Most NAD+ products give you a single molecule and ask you to swallow two or three capsules. We built a 12-active system into one: the NR precursor, the antioxidant stack (Vitamin C, astaxanthin, CoQ10, resveratrol, curcumin), and the beauty cofactors (biotin, zinc, hyaluronic acid, DHA) — all in a single HPMC capsule, every morning.
Take it with breakfast. The small amount of food helps the fat-soluble actives (Vitamin D3, astaxanthin) absorb. BioPerine® supports absorption of the rest — no need to think about timing beyond “with your first meal.”
NAD+ is a coenzyme found in every cell of your body. Researchers including the labs of Sinclair, Imai and Verdin have studied how levels tend to decline with age — and how the niacin–NAD pathway converts B3 precursors like nicotinamide riboside (NR) into the form your cells actually use.
Nicotinamide riboside is a form of vitamin B3 (niacin). Once absorbed, it enters your cells and is converted into NAD+ via the salvage pathway — the same route that naturally replenishes your cellular NAD+ pool.
Niacin contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. These are EFSA-authorised health claims — not marketing language.
Vitamin C contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and to normal collagen formation. Alongside it: astaxanthin (a potent carotenoid), CoQ10 (mitochondrial support), resveratrol and curcumin — four additional antioxidant actives in one capsule.
Biotin and Zinc contribute to the maintenance of normal skin, hair and nails. Hyaluronic acid (25 mg sodium hyaluronate) supports skin hydration. DHA from algae and BioPerine® round out the formula — ensuring the full stack works together.
About 95% of NAD+ supplements ship in plastic. Ours doesn’t. No microplastic leaching, fully recyclable, and a bottle that earns its place on your morning counter — not a hiding spot in the medicine cabinet.
Supplements aren’t pharmaceuticals. They work by supporting your body’s own systems — and that takes weeks, not days. Here’s the honest version most reviewers describe.
Niacin contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism. Most women describe the first shift as a steadier baseline — less mid-afternoon dip, more consistent output across the day.
Most-mentioned first change: steadier energy — mentioned in roughly 38% of our reviews.
Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation. Biotin and Zinc contribute to normal skin, hair and nails. Most women notice a change in skin texture and hair quality before the month is out.
Reviewer-reported: visible skin and hair changes by month 2 is the second most-cited shift.
By month 3, all 12 actives have been consistently present. The antioxidant stack, the beauty cofactors, the cellular support — they run together. This is when women describe the cumulative effect.
“My inner energy matches my outer glow.”
Be patient. Cellular changes take weeks, not days — that’s why we built the 60-day guarantee around the timeline, not against it.
Tap any ingredient for the dose, the source, and why it’s in the formula. No proprietary blends. No marketing herbs.
The lead active. Nicotinamide riboside chloride — authorised as a novel food in the EU (Commission Implementing Regulation 2020/16). A form of vitamin B3 (niacin) and a precursor your cells use to make NAD+.
Niacin contributes to: normal energy-yielding metabolism · the reduction of tiredness and fatigue · normal function of the nervous system · normal psychological function · the maintenance of normal skin and mucous membranes.
Research note: NAD+ is a coenzyme found in every cell. The labs of Sinclair, Imai and Verdin have studied how NAD+ levels tend to decline with age and how the niacin–NAD pathway converts B3 precursors like NR into the form cells use. This is research context, not a product claim.
📚 EFSA authorised health claims (niacin) · novel-food authorisation (NR)Ascorbic acid. The single most-studied vitamin in the formula, dosed well above the NRV minimum.
Vitamin C contributes to: normal collagen formation for the normal function of the skin · the protection of cells from oxidative stress · normal energy-yielding metabolism · the reduction of tiredness and fatigue · normal function of the immune system.
📚 Multiple EFSA authorised health claimsD-Biotin. The beauty cofactor most reviewers ask about — dosed at clinically-relevant levels, not trace amounts.
Biotin contributes to: the maintenance of normal skin and hair · the maintenance of normal mucous membranes · normal macronutrient metabolism · normal function of the nervous system · normal psychological function.
📚 EFSA authorised health claimsCholecalciferol. The bioavailable form of vitamin D, the one your body actually uses.
Vitamin D contributes to: the maintenance of normal bones and muscle function · normal absorption of calcium · normal function of the immune system.
📚 Multiple EFSA authorised health claimsZinc citrate. A well-absorbed form, gentle on the stomach.
Zinc contributes to: the maintenance of normal skin, hair and nails · normal DNA synthesis · normal cell division · the protection of cells from oxidative stress · normal function of the immune system.
📚 Multiple EFSA authorised health claimsUbiquinone form. The molecule your mitochondria use to make cellular energy. The body produces less of it from the 40s onwards.
Research note: CoQ10 is one of the most-studied antioxidant compounds. EFSA has not authorised a specific health claim for CoQ10 in food supplements, so we list it as a research-context ingredient — not as a product claim.
📚 Extensive clinical research literatureFrom Japanese knotweed root (Polygonum cuspidatum), standardised to at least 98% trans-resveratrol. Most cheaper supplements use 50% or less — the trans isomer is the biologically active form.
Research note: Resveratrol is a polyphenol that has been widely studied in longevity research alongside NAD+ biology. EFSA has not authorised a specific health claim for resveratrol, so it sits here as a research-context ingredient — not as a product claim.
📚 Active research area in cellular biologyFrom turmeric root (Curcuma longa), standardised to at least 95% curcumins. The active compounds at clinical concentrations — not just raw root powder.
Research note: Curcumin is a long-studied plant polyphenol. EFSA has not authorised a specific health claim for curcumin, so it sits here as a research-context ingredient. BioPerine® in the same capsule is included to support curcumin absorption.
📚 Extensive clinical research literatureFrom Haematococcus pluvialis microalgae — the most concentrated natural source of astaxanthin. A fat-soluble carotenoid, which is why we recommend taking the capsule with breakfast.
Research note: Astaxanthin is a carotenoid pigment studied for its antioxidant properties. EFSA has not authorised a specific health claim for astaxanthin in food supplements, so it sits here as a research-context ingredient — not as a product claim. Vitamin C in the same capsule carries the authorised oxidative-stress claim.
📚 Active research in carotenoid biologySodium hyaluronate. The salt form of hyaluronic acid — better stability than free HA, same molecule in your body.
Research note: Hyaluronic acid is a naturally-occurring molecule in skin, joints and connective tissue. EFSA has not authorised a specific health claim for ingested HA in food supplements, so it sits here as a research-context ingredient. Vitamin C in the same capsule carries the authorised skin/collagen claim.
📚 Research-context ingredientStandardised black pepper extract (Piper nigrum), 95% piperine. BioPerine® is a registered ingredient from Sabinsa.
Research note: BioPerine® is included as an absorption support ingredient. It’s the most-studied black pepper extract in supplement formulation. Most cheaper NAD+ products skip it — we include it because curcumin, astaxanthin and several other actives in this formula benefit from it.
📚 Sabinsa proprietary researchFrom Schizochytrium sp. microalgae extract. 75 mg extract delivering 18 mg DHA — a plant-based omega-3 source, no fish required.
Research note: DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid found in every cell membrane. EFSA authorises a claim for DHA contribution to maintenance of normal brain function and normal vision (at 250 mg/day); this formula provides 18 mg as part of the broader antioxidant and longevity stack. Research-context ingredient.
📚 EFSA claim exists at 250 mg/day; this formula provides 18 mg DHAEvery dose · every milligram · printed on the bottle. Allergens and full nutrition info on the label.

Both nicotinamide riboside (NR) and nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) are precursors to NAD+. NR is currently the only form cleared as a novel food in the EU, meaning it can legally be sold in supplements here. NMN has not yet received EU novel-food clearance. We use NR because it’s legal, well-studied, and the form with the strongest human clinical evidence to date.
50 mg delivers 312% of the NRV for niacin — the EU reference amount for this vitamin. Higher doses are common in the NAD+ market, but the clinical evidence for additional benefit above EFSA-relevant doses is not established. We chose to use the niacin NRV as our anchor and fill the remaining capsule with 11 cofactors that most single-NR products don’t include. You can take more NR. You can’t easily replicate the full stack in a single capsule at a reasonable price.
We can’t promise that, and we won’t. What we can say: Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation. Biotin and Zinc contribute to the maintenance of normal skin, hair and nails. These are EFSA-authorised claims, not marketing. Whether you notice visible changes depends on your baseline, your consistency, and how your body responds. Most women who report visible changes mention it in month 2 onward.
Most women describe the first noticeable shift as steadier daily energy, usually around week 4. Skin and hair changes tend to come in month 2. The full effect — with all 12 actives consistently present — takes 3 months. This is why we built a 60-day money-back guarantee around the timeline: we want you to have enough time to genuinely evaluate it.
For most women taking a standard multivitamin or single minerals, yes — but check total niacin, biotin, and zinc intake across products. Our capsule delivers 312% NRV niacin, 2,500% NRV biotin, and 50% NRV zinc. Stacking with another high-dose B-vitamin complex could push totals above tolerable upper levels for some nutrients. If in doubt, take one or the other on a given day, or check with your GP or a dietitian.
Two reasons. First, fat-soluble actives like Vitamin D3 and astaxanthin absorb better when taken with a small amount of dietary fat — breakfast provides this. Second, energy-supporting nutrients taken in the morning align with your natural cortisol curve. BioPerine® handles absorption of the rest regardless of meal composition.
NAD+ Jugendelixier is non-hormonal — it doesn’t contain phytoestrogens or hormone precursors. It’s designed for women navigating the full age range, including perimenopause. If you’re on HRT, there’s no known interaction with the actives in this formula, but we always recommend discussing any new supplement with your prescribing doctor when you’re on prescription medication.
BioPerine® is a patented black pepper extract standardised to 95% piperine. It’s the most clinically validated bioavailability enhancer in supplement science, with over 20 years of research. It’s particularly effective at increasing absorption of curcumin, which otherwise passes largely unabsorbed. We use it because a formula is only as good as what actually gets absorbed.
Yes. HPMC (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose) capsule shell — no gelatin. Free from gluten, lactose, soy, GMO ingredients, artificial colours, and flow agents. The DHA comes from algae (Schizochytrium sp.), not fish. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
Manufactured in an EU GMP-certified facility. Every batch is identity-tested by Mérieux NutriSciences, an independent European laboratory, for heavy metals, microbiological hygiene, active identity, and allergens. We publish the Certificate of Analysis — see the CoA section above.
60-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. Email us, we refund the product price. We built the guarantee around the 3-month timeline on purpose: we want you to have enough time to genuinely evaluate the formula, not just the first two weeks.
Yes — the formula is non-hormonal. We designed it with women in mind (beauty cofactors, female longevity research framing) but the actives themselves are not gender-specific. NR, CoQ10, resveratrol, curcumin, Vitamin C — all relevant regardless of sex.
Please consult your doctor or midwife before use. Some actives — particularly high-dose niacin and resveratrol — have not been evaluated for safety during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you’re on prescription medication, particularly blood thinners or immunosuppressants, discuss the formula with your prescribing physician first.
NAD+ Jugendelixier is a food supplement, not a medicine. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Health claims on this page refer to EFSA-authorised claims linked to specific nutrients (niacin, Vitamin C, Biotin, Zinc, Vitamin D3) at the declared doses. Statements about research actives (NR, CoQ10, resveratrol, curcumin, astaxanthin) describe the scientific literature — not approved health claims. Individual results vary.
